Peanut butter biscuits

On NYE, Jason and Tracey and offspring were coming to visit at tea time, and then other friends were coming to dinner, and so I wanted to have something home made to go with a cup of tea. I made some peanut butter biscuits, adapted from a recipe my sister gave me years ago, and I rediscovered it last year on a scrap of paper amongst all the boxes ( Read more... )

I have gas, but my oven is a little slow. I think I had it somewhere between 5 and 6, and that was good.

What if there was a fire? The wooden spoon would become a potential health hazard.

That's why you should always carve your wooden spoons from fire-resistant wood.

Hey cool - haven't thought about those for years. Don't even recall where the recipe came from. I always used smooth peanut butter for a lovely creamy texture. And no chocolate.
