I could see him getting impatient with some of his social links, and some people in general, especially towards the end of the year, when he'd have to be feeling like he's heard it all. Ha, ha! <3

Remember, you're HAPPY to be here, at your Junes!
Article 13c) NEVER bring a long face to the sales floor, arcade, food court, or any public area of Junes, or to the car park/surrounding area, while still wearing your Junes uniform. If you are having a bad day, GRIN IT OUT, before presenting yourself to the public.
Article 17a) ALWAYS check your personal appearance, before coming on shift. Is your hair neat? Are your fingernails clean and trimmed? Do your socks ( ... )

It seems to me that Troll!Souji is trying to make Nobody_Nose better himself, but it's so different from the advice that Souji gives to his S. links in person. I think the title of this fic is really apt, because the troll is basically how I imagine Souji's shadow to be.
As much as this makes me really feel bad for Yosuke, I can't wait to see it continue.

I got the same impression as you, that Yosuke had to be a lonely guy. Nobody seemed to like him all that much, before he got on the Investigation Team...and that's got to feel pretty fragile to him, as if the murders are the only thing allowing him to be "in" with these people.
I would say Trollji is epically tired of people NOT being strong, on their own--and not being there for HIM--and lashing out at someone he believes is a stranger. I was thinking about that, too--Souji didn't have a shadow, but he's got to have SOMETHING in there, that he's hiding.

(Another thing I wonder: which of them will figure it out first?? I guess logically it would be Souji, but there's some chance that Yosuke will do some fancy IP logging and discover the truth. Depending on who learns when things could play out really differently . . . which is reminding me, for some reason, of magical girl shows and that moment when the magical girl's identity is revealed (to people who hate her and love her persona, or vice versa). And while that may sound like an egregiously lame comparison, I really love those sorts of moments, so I mean it as the highest possible compliment to your fic! <3 <3 ( ... )

Er, anyway, this is awesome and I can't wait to read more (although it'll probably upset me - which means it's definitely the best type of fic!)
BTW I loved separation! I only just finished reading it yesterday so sorry I didn't comment there.
