Kanji/Rise + Naoto. In which Kanji and Rise are in bed talking (optional fooling around) and Rise teases Kanji because she got to see Naoto in nothing but a towel at the hot springs (bonus points if Rise totally molested Naoto while in said hot springs), and she knows that Kanji wants Naoto like whoa. More bonus points if Rise makes some Kanji x Naoto happen somehow.
Again, weird idea is weird.

When Kanji grew into adolescence, he thought about replacing the traditional sliding door of his bedroom with something that could be locked and bolted. It seemed only sensible, after all, what with all the weird shit that tended to accompany this particular phase of human development. But he never did, mostly because he never got around to it, and his Ma would probably object.
Of course, that changed after he had met Rise Kujikawa, Inaba’s own idol and human-shaped tornado.
“Kan-jiiiii!”
Kanji, sprawled on his stomach on his futon sheets, buried his face into his textbook. He could almost feel everything that wasn’t nailed down in his room rattle with the suddenness of her entrance, and wished again that he’d gotten that bedroom door with a lock.
“Didn’t I tell you last time to phone ‘fore you come over?” he growled, half-muffled by paper.
“Yeah, give you a call when I could yell at you from my place across the street? ( ... )

“What?” he demanded.
She made some kind of noncommittal noise and shrugged. Then she stretched, her arms straining upwards and lifting the hem of her tank top high over her bellybutton, and Kanji decided to tear his gaze away while he still could. There was already a coating of dampness on his skin thanks to the heat, but now he was sweating for reasons that had nothing to do with the weather.
He bent again over his textbook, and a drop of perspiration rolled down his forehead. It hit the axis of one of the acute triangles on the page; Kanji watched, fascinated, as the ink began to blot. He almost didn’t feel Rise’s foot until she dragged it down the curve of his ass and pushed it in between his cheeks.
“The hell?” Kanji rolled over and away from her, his butt safely pressed against the floor. Rise was giggling, the little devil. “You taking molestation lessons from Teddie now or what?”
“I told you, I’m bored. And hot.” Her pout dissolved into a grin as she flopped onto her back, tucking her arms over her head. “Obviously.”

“It’s not like I’m gonna think bad of you if you admitted it. It’s perfectly normal, you know.”
Maybe it was, but Kanji didn’t want to admit that he couldn’t even properly jerk off to his fantasies of Naoto; it felt like he was wronging her somehow. So he replaced her with someone faceless, and even that hadn’t been a completely successful effort, either: sometimes when he looked up it was Naoto staring back at him. (And once or twice it had had been Rise, though he’d decided to chalk that up to the disproportionate amount of time he was spending in her presence. Adolescence was truly confusing.)
He was so deep into his sad stab at self-analysis that he almost missed that Rise had gone still and quiet. “Kanji, why don’t you just tell her?”
“Tell her what?” Kanji said, falling back on reflex.
“Don’t give me that,” she snapped, suddenly and uncharacteristically fuming. “This is me you’re talking to. It’s been like almost a year since you’ve known each other. Why haven’t you said anything?”
“Don’t see no reason to,” he said, and it was ( ... )

She pulled away her finger, allowing Kanji’s jaw to finally drop. He stared at her, torn between awe and suspicion. Rise stared back, and for a second Kanji wondered if this was yet another one of her jokes. But he flashed back to her rambling speech; even Rise wasn’t that good of an actress.
Rise, seeing the slow dawning in his eyes, finally permitted herself a faint smile. “Man,” she said, reclining back on his futon. “You guys’re so dense you deserve each other.”

The heat from the approaching summer season abated little over the next two days.
On the second floor of Marukyu Tofu’s, Rise opened her bedroom windows to catch what little breeze there was. Across the street she could see Tatsumi Textiles-as well as the two figures standing in front. The smaller figure’s distinctive blue hat and the boy’s white-blond hair eliminated any need for guesswork.
Rise leaned a bit further out from the windowsill.
Kanji was standing with his back half-turned toward her; only about a quarter of his face was visible, but ( ... )

I think Naoto and Kanji would be more grateful to Rise after this than anything. :)
