Yosuke forces Souji's head to the side and puts his mouth close to his ear. Souji catches a glimpse of him; his face is pale and drawn tight. "Don't think about him," he whispers, and Souji can barely feel his mouth move, barely hear him over the music that leaks out of his headphones and the buzzing in his head, "don't look at him, he's not here. (Writing this was one part 'blah blah fix that sentence, edit' and two parts 'why do I do these kinds of things to these characters (especially Souji) D8?!')
