“A-Adachi, what was..?!” The cop was so obviously flustered after, doing that loud whisper thing as he covered his mouth. But what a good boy; knew better than to make a ruckus about it. Being in a secluded corner to observe had its advantages, though; so even if he did it would be easy to play off

So, Adachi just gives that innocent smile, nodding. “Sorry, sir.” It makes the older detective feel a pang of guilt for a moment; he didn’t exactly protest after all. But his partner knows that. He’s only just barely planted ideas in Dojima’s weak little heart. Just needed the time to grow; slowly twist the man right around his finger. Too predictable, Dojima. (Two months later he would be bored of this game anyway, and it'd take Dojima almost a year to realize. What a chump
