Kanji still hadn't worked up the guts to go to the stupid sewing club after school. Instead he was sitting in his bedroom, putting together his latest creation: a penguin in a top hat and monocle, which he was pretty damn proud of. Admiring Sir PenPen, he almost didn't hear someone calling his name from outside - till he realized it was Naoto. Wasn't she meant to be at the station?

"Kanji-kun! Are you there?"

He put down his sewing gear, walked over to the open window, and looked down.

Holy shit.Naoto was standing in the street below, in the middle of the shopping district, holding the same damn tape deck he'd borrowed from Yosuke's dad and looking like the weight was gonna knock her over ( ... )

I ended up downloading the song Naoto sings, and laugh every time I picture her singing it.
