Waiting, waiting waiting. It's always waiting, with Souji.

Every morning he waits for the coffee maker to finish. Later he's waiting for the train to arrive at his stop to go to work. He waits for lunch break, waits for his cigarette to be done (damn habit he picked up from his uncle), waits for the work day to be over, waits on the train to get home. Even when they were younger and that whole TV world thing was going on…it was always waiting, for the Midnight Channel, for a new break in the case, even just for rainy days to get those crappy discounts at the Shiroku Store.

It’s never really felt like he was doing anything. He's just waiting ( ... )

Yosuke’s mouth travels south, past fine chest hair and subtle muscles. His tongue dips inside Souji’s navel, and his short stubble scratches his skin. Souji tenses and fists a hand in Yosuke’s hair, ruining the neat ponytail, experiencing for the first time how sensitive the skin is underneath his navel, not knowing if everyone’s like this, or just him ( ... )

OP here. This was fantastic. You win a packet of gold stars and the internet.

Once Souji obviously wants things to speed up, Yosuke holds nothing back, and they’re moving perfectly in tandem, and no one’s waiting for anything right now, instead they want this to last forever.

Oh, damn right it's going to last forever. This was my favorite line; especially with the last part hinting at the two of them wanting something more than just a good fuck. But there's nothing wrong with that, either. THEN THE TWO OF THEM LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER AND HAVE SMOKING HOT GAY SEX EVERY EVENING AFTER WORK. HELLS YES.
