Control, Minato whispers into his ear, control.
It sends a shudder through Souji’s body, a heady combination of heat and arousal and fear. He can’t see past Minato, past the spotlight on this tiny patch of ground, but there are noises and Shadows stirring in the darkness and he’s useless with his hands tied to a cross.
Minato kisses him, thoughtfully, completely chaste. He runs a chilling hand down Souji’s jaw, his thumb pressing into the hollow of Souji’s neck. Something nearby, too close nearby, roars loud enough that it makes Souji’s eardrums ring, and he inhales sharply and presses against the cool metal along his spine.
Control, Minato says, or maybe thinks, and suddenly the light is boiling him, hot like he’s far too near the sun. Souji gasps and tries to see through the darkness, spots in his vision and sweat beading on his forehead and ( ... )
