(...sorry, this just popped into my head and I couldn't resist.)

Yosuke figured he probably had a stupid smile on his face right now. His tail was twitching slightly as he stared - that is, looked - over at Souji as they sat in the Junes food court. Strong, confident features, soft-looking gray hair topped with probably the cutest ears Yosuke had ever seen.

It was a little hard for him to resist. But they were expecting the others, so Yosuke looked back down at his feet in an attempt to not blurt out something stupid. Thankfully, footsteps provided a good distraction, and Yosuke jerked his head up. "Yo!" The rest of the greeting died as Chie and Yukiko came and took their seats, nodding at Souji's quiet greetings.

"...Could you not stare?" Yukiko finally said to Yosuke, her cheeks a little pink. "It's embarrassing."
He somehow managed not to point. "But yesterday you both had-"
"Yeah, we know, Yosuke," Chie was giving him the look that made him cringe away automatically. The girl kicked hard"Huh," he said, trying to school his ( ... )
