It was obvious to everyone that Kanji liked Souji, but they all were merciful to turn a blind eye and act oblivious to Kanji's quick glances at Leader or the way he reddened whenever Souji was close to him. Souji knew all to well about Kanji's feelings but was happy to know that Kanji felt so strongly about him. In fact, Souji was pretty sure he was developing feelings for the clumsy but rugged first year; Kanji's true self was very kind and just yearned for acceptance and Souji was sure he could fill that need. So he had been the first to make the move. Of course, when Souji confessed to Kanji, the younger boy stuttered crazily, denying that he had any feelings for his Senpai
