Kou shuffled out of the locker room after practice, wondering if he'd accidentally traded pants with someone. They looked like his pants, but he was almost sure they weren't that big last time he wore them. Damn... He needed a belt.

The basketball court was empty now, save for the big metal crate used to hold the balls. He had yet to polish them this season. Maybe it was about time.

"I loooove them balls," he sang to himself cheerfully as he strode over to the crate, pulling out two semi-dusty spheres. The polish was back in the locker room, he remembered now, so he took his friends balls with him. Once he found the polish, he sat on an abandoned bench between walls of lockers and started working the shiny, slick liquid over one of the... pieces of sports equipment
