Okay, so maybe he shouldn't have looked at his emails while he was in the library. And maybe, if he had looked at his emails, he shouldn't have opened the one sent from his mom with the subject "READ THIS!!!!!! ♥", and after opening it he shouldn't have clicked the link that his mom thought he would like.
