When Adachi was first assigned to work with Detective Dojima, he was a little disappointed. Dojima was an attractive man, of course, but he wasn't exactly Adachi's 'type' - he wasn't beautiful, young, and he didn't exactly look easy to pin down and rape either. Oh well - Adachi wasn't planning on staying in this dumb little town any longer than he had to anyways.
It was mid-August, a night that was even more humid than the day had been. After they'd got off work, Dojima had dragged Adachi to the nearest bar for some 'relaxation', which of course meant Dojima getting drunk off his ass while Adachi watched. At some point Dojima had convinced himself that it was Valentines Day, and Adachi was in no mood to try and correct him.
"Adashi," Dojima slurred, glaring his empty glass. "Buy me 'nother drink."
"Hehe... I don't think that's a good idea, Dojima-san."
