I am now the proud owner of a Ruger P89 9mm pistol. A gun is something that I've always wanted to have, but never got around to getting. I believe firmly in the 2nd Amendment, & I also feel that people should have a right to defend themselves, their loved ones, & their property

I don't think the wifey would be too happy if I had a gun.

I think I'm one of those borderline people when it comes to guns. Overall, I feel people should have the right to own one, but unfortunately that means there are too many fuckin' dumbasses that end up getting guns for all the wrong reasons.

I guess I wish there was some kind of process or criteria people had to go through in order to get a gun. And I think only certain people should be able to obtain certain types of guns, especially the more destructive and dangerous ones.

I am crazy jealous about the buffalo meat.

I guess the best way to counteract the wrong people having guns is for the right people to have them. If more people were packing, then these scumsucking criminal types would be less likely to try anything. As it is now, they know a lot of people don't have a gun & are easy prey. If they knew they had a higher risk of getting shot, the crime would probably drop off. I love hearing stories where someone tried to rob someone & ended up getting a nasty surprise.

Your wife shouldn't only support you having a gun, she should learn to use one herself. You may not always be right there.
