I'm Dreadfully Bored....

Sep 01, 2009 19:58

I sit still, impatiently awaiting the end of this boring lecture our teacher is giving on the first day. Already telling us what to do, how to act, when to speak...this is ridiculous. Shouldn't the professor be teaching us something rather then simply running their mouth for an hour? Nago is starving already. I have to gracefully attend classes ( Read more... )

I certainly do not mean your class Professor. I signed up for your class on my own accord...unlike some this manditory twit classes I need to attend till the end of the year. Your class actually proceeds to make me think and because of which, I applaud you.

Also you allow Nago to sit on my table and for that I thank you.

Perhaps...But I highly doubt it. No matter...some of them ARE keeping my interests while others are...simply not.

How are your classes going, Gareki?

[[OF COURSE she is lol. She's too epic to be anywhere else :3]]

I see. I just wish I hadn't taken some of these classes but alas, It cannot be helped I suppose. Some of the classes I don't dare speak of are mandatory sadly and there is no real way around them. Perhaps the professors were just having off days...I just do hope I have a tad bit more fun this year then the last.

Your classes have started slow as welll? Let us just hope this is just because it is the first day. Perhaps the professors I care not to mention are just slow starters...

[[OOC: Rachel probably FORGOT the other conversation lol. She has a short attention span with it comes to things like arguments and fights. lol]]

Oh, the classes are going to continue being boring... but when the castle starts playing tricks again; THAT'S when the fun starts.

[OOC: Jomy, too. He probably has ADD or something idk. POTENTIAL FRIENDS, Y/N? 8'D]

Oh I also enjoy the silly antics of the castle. It spices things up a tad, doesn't it?

I am hoping that the school year is as eventful as the summer. If that is so, I would not mind the dreadfully boring classes so much.

[[PERHAPS! [[[yes lol]]] if Rachel will allow it!]]

*eyeroll*

A word to the wise, Miss Alucard. If you find you simply must sneak derogatory notes into your journal during class, have the courtesy not to brag about it with an open entry.

I made it an open entry dear professor so that everyone could hear my words. I have said nothing WRONG and in between note taking, I am certain it isn't that big of a deal to write something like I did.

I made it open so certain Professors can perhaps read it and learn from their mistakes...that is all. I am sure that if I took your runes class, I would not be in such a state of boredom and depression. Perhaps next year I will make the right decisions.

I do hope you didn't take my words in the wrong way, Dear Professor.

*doesn't believe for a minute that her motives are anywhere near as benign as that, but is willing to play the innocent game for as long as she is*

On the contrary, I believe that writing journal entries in class comes under the heading of passing notes, which has been frowned upon in scholarly settings even since I was alive. More importantly, though, such passive-aggressive defiance is beneath a student of this institution. If you have a problem with one of your professors, the responsible thing to do is to speak to him or her privately after class, and if you must complain about it, do so on your own time. If you wish professors to take your opinions seriously, they will be more likely to do so if you respect their rules, however arbitrary they might be.

Why wait until next year? There's no law against improving yourself now. Perhaps your boredom and depression would be alleviated if you took it upon yourself to tutor a student who is having trouble with that class. *ironic half-smile* Good works are a balm for the spirit, you ( ... )

Oh dearest professor, I am going to speak to the professors I am speaking of in due time if necessary. It is the first day though after all so I am only speaking my mind. Perhaps they will correct their boring ways in their own way as class progresses.

I do not need to "improve" myself. I need to improve the quality of classes I take and tutoring a student is beneath me. I work hard for my grades and it shows as I excel in all classes I partake in, even the dreadfully boring ones. A student who is doing poorly is doing poorly because they decide to do poorly. There are no excuses...

You mustn't know Nago if you believe that way professor. You do not know me either so I do ask politely, leave the judgment for your classroom and students.
