It only took that one knock to get him awake, even though he was less than happy about it. Really, it was the middle of the night, who would? And why?
But then there's Hayato's voice and in a second Ryuutaro is out of bed, getting over to the door.
His hair was pretty much a mess, he didn't wear any makeup and was only clothes in a white yukata that ended shortly above his knees, but he was too tired to realize any of this.
Waking up fast was one thing, being completely awake afterwards another.
He opened the door, waking up a bit more as he saw Hayato in there miserable state he was in.
He quickly let him in, before even asking questions.
"...Hayato?"

"U-uh... hey... I.. um... well I...."
And a flash from the dream plays through his mind. A blond man holding him off the ground by his neck. Questioning him about the location of the Tenth. He himself felt the agonizing pain, like his whole insides were on fire... but he still managed to spit in the man's face... then he blinked... and it was no longer Gamma holding him off the ground, but the angel...
He shuddered and shook his head trying to force the horrific memory away. His gaze went to the floor, he was embarrassed about the childlike request he was about to make... but he didn't want to be alone after that. He needed something to distract him from letting those thoughts and memories take over his head...

Minus the flashback of the nightmare of course. That was really scary. It was not fair that Hayato had to go through this.
Though in a way it was Hayato's luck. Anything less and Ryuutaro might just have been pissed about being waken up in the middle of the night.
He pulled his yukata closer around his body... It was cold in the room after all. Then he nodded. What else could he do, when Hayato looked like this? There was no way he'd be sending him away.
"Of course you can...", Ryuutaro replied quietly, still sounding quite tired, but growing more awake steadily.

"Thanks. S-sorry for wakin' you up..."
And with another deep breath he can feel his heartbeat begin to calm a little.
