It's called 'juxtaposition'. Like when someone says 'noisy silence'. It doesn't literally make sense, but does in a way - obviously I don't mean 'violence' as in, giving him a black eye.

noisy silence isn't actually juxtaposition. because silence - true silence - isn't actually silent. a little bit of noise, like a distant cicada outside makes that kind of silence feel quiter than true silence.

I didn't infer superiority that I write Franz fic and you don't. I don't particularly care what fandoms you write in. I was merely pointing out that Alex Kapranos read the fic I wrote about him, and that he liked it! Something I'm rather proud of, to be honest, even if it does make some people jealous......
