god, seriously. it happens every year, like clockwork. the birthday angst. not the "oh noes i'm ancient" kind, but the "oh woes no one gives a damn" kind. & it doesn't help that there is no birthday collection bag in the tearoom with my name on it & i'm too _something_ to ask about it. i've mentioned the fact it's my birthday tomorrow several times

i do the birthday angst every year too, but because i don't want anyone to notice/mention it and some people (well, my parents) always do. heh.

ah, yes... the birthday blues... presents aren't always necessary, but it's nice when people make a big deal about you.
