I just watched those videos. Especially the one that begins with the roll call. Thank you so much for sharing that. I only wish that it were captioned, but what I heard was more than enough.

The Sheer Audacity. I am near speechless with outrage. The World Is Watching. Do they not understand that? They style themselves the Defenders of Democracy to the world, and *this* they try with the cameras running?!

Stay strong, my friends in Wisconsin. On the streets on the other side of the world, people know and they see.

It's been interesting to see the differences in how various news outlets are covering this, and notice who is willing to see that this is about much more than money or bother to point out how this particular budget "crisis" was caused by greed and priorities that aren't in the interests of the majority of the people of the state. Unfortunately, not as many as carried the "human interest" story about all the folks from around the world ordering pizza for the protesters (which was also pretty awesome in a we live in the future sort of way).

Thank you for the links to the videos. Now we just need to get more people to watch (and understand) them than listen to the right wing pundits that call all those people in sleeping bags a riot.

Hi there, I came here by way of trinker. I was born and raised in WI and have started my own family here. Due to these recent events, my 15 month old daughter has attended her first political rally, in support of workers rights. I had already seen the second video you shared, but not the first. As upsetting as this whole thing has been, it is refreshing to see that there are representatives who are speaking out and fighting back on behalf of the public ( ... )

Specifically, from what I can tell, selling off public utilities to private interests without any checks and balances. And guess who is a big private holder of utilities? The infamous Koch Brothers.
