There's a gal at the barn... around my age, give or take, who lives down the road with a pasture full of thoroughbred-draft crosses that she raises, trains, and sells for heavy hunters. That reminds me of a time when my neighbors dogs got loose and my other neighbor asked me if I knew who the owner was and I didn't but they were cute, a chi and a standard poodle that refused to be separated, so I took them in for a couple of days and fed them and bathed them and gave the poodle a haircut and trimmed their nails. :) the owners were really happy when they were reunited, especially a little girl around age 11 who cried out "you're so fancy now!" To her poodle. It was a great moment.
