"Worst of all, the Quidditch Cup was cut painfully, gut-wrenchingly, non-sensically short. There are these glorious set-up shots, showing a massive stadium filled with cheering fans, and the two teams make their entrances... so impressive, so amazing. I was on the edge of my seat. I couldn't wait for the game to start. And then they cut to the Weasleys, Harry, and Hermione celebrating in the tent. They don't even mention who won! I was just about to walk out of the theatre at that point."
YESSSSSS! I agree with this whole-heartedly, I felt the same exact way. It was from this point on that I gave up hope of Goblet being satisfying. It really was awful; their lack of explanation is going to bite them in the ass for #5.
Omgosh. I completely agree. I'm so disappointed. That was one of my favorite books, and it totally killed it for me. And when OOTP comes out, I'm not sure I'm even going to see it. That's my favorite, and I don't think I can handle that being slaughtered, too. I mean, wtf?! They cut out at least 3 characters, scenes, and information! Wth?!

however, I do think it was entertaining, and for THAT I'd give it a B/B-

So much of Book 5 plays off of Book 4, I don't know how they are going to explain a lot of it now.
