Ha Ha. The image could have used a little filtering to smooth out the dithering. :-)
I've noticed that many color images I scan at high resolution have that problem because of the goofy way that color images are printed. I'm thinking of trying to write a program to remove the periodic dithering aliasing without destroying too much detail in the process. Maybe an approach using the FFT would work.
