Earlier today I donated blood at Children's Hospital. I'm not too fond of having some strange nurse needle me here and there but I could say it was for a good cause. My kid cousin is going to have an open Heart surgery in about a week so and needed 4 blood donors just in case something went wrong I suppose

well they will check if you lack iron in your blood before they drain you out. After they drain you, they take your blood to the lab to check if you don't have Hepittius B(or whatever), HIV and some other diseases which I forget there names. You feel great when you donate blood, really.
