I made a few notes while I watched the season premiere. I purposely didn't watch the last 4 episodes of last season until I got the DVDs recently because I hate cliffhangers. This way, I didn't have nearly as long to feel frustrated

It was heads and tails above the finale, and actually felt like an NCIS episode. Weatherly ruled and I was quite glad to see Tony & Tim acting like friends instead of the mean sniping of last year. There were some problems with it though - for a Jewish woman and agent of Mossad, Ziva was in entirely too good of physical shape for someone held by a bunch of Jihadists for three or four months. Sure, Cote did a great job with the eyes, but physically, she should have been a lot more messed up.

And seriously, how did Gibbs cross that distance so quickly? Did he develop the ability to teleport? Sure, it was a nice Hero Shot (tm), but it was a little hard to buy that he crossed that distance so quickly.

Unfortunately, season 6 started out really good before nose diving into mediocrity, so I'm not holding my breath.
