It took me 'til about 22-23 before I stopped being so damn shy. :(

Shyness seems to come from either fear of embarassment, or being too concerned about what others think. Which is I guess the same. What's funny is that I -thought- that I didn't give a damn what anyone thought of me. I certainly didn't want to be different, to be more like the popular ones. But deep down, I was terrified of looking like a fool.

when you emailed me you didn't seem shy. But I do understand. I can talk to anyone one online but in person it takes me a while before I feel comfortable. yer, just to say you're not on your own. :)
