Like a little lemming...

I noticed a bunch of other people did this, so I did too:

  1. azumanga daioh:
Azumanga Daioh is funny stuff. I prefer the manga to the anime because the pacing's a lot quicker, and it makes the gags that much funnier. I don't often actually laugh out loud in reaction to books or comics, but I was cracking up and giggling the whole time while reading Azumanga Daioh. Even the jokes that were lost in translation are funny! Go read it! NOW!
  2. drawing:
I like drawing, but I'm not much of an artist. Sometimes I'll go on a big drawing spree and burn through a ton of paper. Then I look back at the drawings like a week later and hate 'em all. *sigh*
  3. fight club:
This is a really good, twisted movie. I liked most everything about it: the acting, the cinematography, the story, etc. It's full of fun-to-quote lines like: "You're not your f*cking khakis." The jaded humor and upside-down view of the world is spot-on. Two thumbs up!
  4. japan:
I really want to go to Japan. Seems like a cool place. My "To Do" list there: laugh at schoolgirls in sailor uniforms, buy tons of anime/manga junk, get me a nice samurai sword, eat some good sushi, and pilot a giant robot in an epic battle vs. Godzilla. Oh, and see some temples and stuff too.
  5. kendo:
I just started kendo, but I'm having a blast! It's really hard. I imagine it'll be a loong time before I get the hang of things. Er... for those who don't know, kendo is a form of martial arts, quite literally "the way of the sword". I loves me my swords!
  6. legos:
I used to sit and play with my legos for hours on end. I have a whole ton of them. My family won't come with me to the lego store ever because I'm totally serious about getting the most out of my "fill the cup with as many legos as you can" purchase. It takes me forever to make sure I've used every tiny bit of volume. Meanwhile, five-year-olds are prancing around me, tossing in like 5 blocks and a tree and saying they're "All done!". Pfft. Children. So immature... *plays with legos* >_>
  7. maria-sama ga miteru:
Best anime... EVER! Well, the best I've seen so far. It's all about the characters. Each one is unique, absorbing, and downright awesome. Especially Sei. If she were real, I'd run away with her. Just go watch it if you haven't already. Both seasons. And, if you have already watched it, watch it all over again
  8. metropolis:
I'm not talking about the anime movie, Metropolis. I hated that. My interest is the black and white, silent, German expressionist sci-fi classic, Metropolis. It's definitely worth seeing. Lots of things in it are downright goofy (the acting, the costumes, the special effects, the names... alright, everything!), but that's what makes it so loveable in my book. I'm just sick like that, I guess.
  9. ray harryhausen:
Ray Harryhausen is the king of all stop-motion animation. I love the guy. His work is really a pleasure to see. His films include "Clash of the Titans", "Jason and the Argonauts", and a whole line of "Sinbad" adventures. Every one of his creatures puts the B-actors starring in the films to shame. Some particular favorites of mine are the fighting skeleton warriors, Khali (who fights with six arms!), and Talos (a BIG bronze man). Harryhausen's so cool!
  10. sleep:
I like to sleep. I just never get a chance to. :(

If they all go do drugs/smoke/jump off a bridge next, I suppose I'll have no choice but to follow. Turns out I'm a mindless peer pressure zombie...
