ohhhhhhh! I SO cannot wait for a fanlation of the third manga! I've got some random scans of it from hallalundi for art purposes but nothing more than that.
I need Marimite novels. ;O; XDDD;; I love the first part of Ibara no Mori. XDDD;; That's the one where...Yoshino is throwing around a Panda or something right?
I love the funny Yoshino-Rei and Yumi-Yoshino moments towards the beginning! I was translating the 2nd chapter of the volume last night, and Yoshino's "You're slow, Yumi" (after Yumi takes about a year and a half to get the connection between "sugar" and "Satou" (basically, Sei's last name is a homonym for the Japanese word for "sugar")) really cracked me up. XD
( ... )
lol! Yoshino's a riot. XD My favorite Yoshino bit is in the "Ibara no Mori" anime episode. Yumi and she are on the phone, and Yumi is tearfully agonizing over the end of the book, and Yoshino's like "Yeah... um... I didn't really call to talk about that." She has such a great expression on her face. Hehehe.
So, you were translating the second chapter, eh? Huzzah! Does that indicate, perchance, a Lilicious scanlation release in the not-too-distant future? *hopes*
I liked the way the greenhouse scene of "White Petals" was done. It was very pretty. Yeah. The greenhouse scene was nicely done. :) I also sort of liked the Super Rosa Gigantea bits, since she seemed a lot different from the anime version. I don't know which I like better, but this one was interesting. She struck me almost like a grown-up Yumi in appearance and personality. That's sort of neat, because then I can see why Sei is so drawn to Yumi later on... ^_^
I can't give you an approximate date or anything, but the first chapter is currently in editing. Editing Marimite is quite time-intensive, and a lot of our editors have gotten busy with RL stuff lately, so... yeah. >_> It should be out sometime in the not-too-far future, though. BTW, since you bought the book, let me know if you want my text translations to read with for now. :)
A grown-up Yumi, huh? I'll have to take another look at the Super Rosa Gigantea scenes.

What are the dimensions of the novels?

The novels are 4.25" by 6". The 4.5" by 7" manga volume looks like a monster next to them.

Yep. Yoshino throws a panda at Rei! XD Later on, though, Rei kinda gets her back when Yoshino chucks a pillow at her and she catches it all cool-like.
I was already a Yoshino fan, but this manga has made me love her at least 100x more. :D

Mhm. Compare ol' SRG to Yumi in that earlier scene with Yoshino and Rei, where her hair was down.
