Thanks to Alan I was able to get crossposting between my blog and my LJ working, which should make this place a bit less quiet.

I arrived back in Boston from Long Beach at 5:30am Friday, and unable to get any sleep on the plane my sleep schedule is still unforgivably wonky. I accidentally slept through most of the daylight hours yesterday, wasting beautiful unseasonal weather reaching near 70 degrees, it was like being back in Cali.

I just spent over an hour trying to install a new 512MB stick of RAM and now it feels like I was thumbing razor-blades for kicks. Shoving circuit board into a tiny slot for that amount of time will do that. At least the new stick had some fancy LED thing going on so I had a nice soft block of plastic to shove, rather than jagged metal like my other ( Read more... )

So I found myself actually waking up early this past Saturday to go to this game themed event put on my Microsoft at Harvard. It was basically a showcase for their XNA Studio Express game development software, which I found pretty interesting.
