Im sorry to hear about this and I agree, perhaps they should leave your medicine alone, for now.Being that it has only been a little over a month, your loss is still very raw and right in the middle of the grief process. Switching your medicine around now may do more harm then good.
When I lost my dad, I was told he was not suffering any longer, etc. etc, (which I knew but it didnt help) so I felt like I had to grieve a certain way, like everyone else. I think what helped me the most was to have someone to talk to, express the anger I felt and to feel like it was okay to be feeling the way I did.
My condolences for your loss and the aftermath of it. It must be very difficult for you and I'm honestly not sure what I can do to help. But if you need to talk/vent, I'm around and willing to listen.
