Double Drabble: Hotel Room

A/N: Double drabble.
“What d’you think?” Jack gestured expansively with a sweep of his arm. “Isn’t it great?”
Ianto blinked. “It’s round.”
“Is that a problem? Are you against round furnishings?”
“Uh, no, I suppose not, I just wasn’t expecting it.”
“We’re on an alien planet, Ianto. A lot of things aren’t going to look like their counterparts back on earth. Besides, rectangles and squares can get a bit boring. Sometimes they’re not the most practical of shapes. I can’t believe you’ve never seen a round bed before.”
“Of course I have, but they’re more… circular, not to mention flatter. This one’s round. Like an oversized bowling ball.” It even seemed to have finger holes.
“Makes it cosier.” Jack beamed at his lover. “Come on, you’ll be fine once you’re inside.” So saying, Jack bent and climbed through one of the holes. Hesitating for a moment, Ianto toed his shoes off and followed, tumbling onto a surface that resembled grass, but was softer, fluffier, and pink.
Jack was already stripping his clothes off, pushing them into a nearby slot, then stretching out on his back, the surface undulating beneath him.
“Trust me, Ianto; this will be the best sleep experience you’ve ever had.”
