It’s an impressive sight, even for someone as well-travelled as Jack. He can only imagine how Rose must feel, seeing dozens of spacecraft in all shapes and sizes, tethered by deceptively fragile moorings to the slowly spinning bulk of the Heddras Space Station.
There’d been a time, not so long ago, when Jack might have slipped aboard one of those ships and liberated it from its owners, but he doesn’t need to do that anymore. All of time and space is open to him, thanks to the Doctor and his amazing ship, the only one that never needs a mooring.
