I had hoped to compile my top albums of the year list before Christmas, but since I'll be on a flight to Montreal in a few hours, it don't look like that'll happen. So in order to tide you kind folks over I suggest sampling a few other lists like the ones here (I'm quite ashamed that they had to put Xiu Xiu at number 50... it's kinda like saying
