Today was so busy! I had to be at work at eight A.M to take a picture with my fellow co-workers for our new newspaper add.
The picture came out okay, but I was laughing and my face looks like a pie! Can you find Amanda in this picture?

OMG COOL!

did you happen to know that since I was 5 I've always wanted to be a veterinarian? :D and that reminds me...we must have a talk about your own opinions on the job. 'cause most of the people I know say that it doesn't pay well, and that it's hard work. I'm a very confused little girl. o_O; heh.

I used to want to get licensed to be a technician, but Ive been working in the field for over two years now and will not waste my time.

Working in a healthcare is not only rewarding- it also can be downright fun. But it is one of the lowest paying jobs around. Being a vet does not pay well- UNLESS you work in an ER type practice, work with exotics, or work in a rich area where the clinic can afford to jack up the prices. (One of the vets in this picture was the Vet for the lead guitarist of Metallica!)

In some ways, working with animals can be immensley rewarding- but in other ways it cannot. I have seen vets get so frusterated when theyve extended all their knowledge possible and still seen an animal die. Or, even worse, when you save a clients pet- and they stiff you. It is very frusterating. Sometimes the owners themselves make the vets want to go on a killing spree- you see so many crazies in this buisness.

I could go on, because there is so much to say about this job. I will let your eyes rest, however.

Mmm. I cry when I see dead dogs/horses in the street. Imagine how I would be if one died 'cause I couldn't save him, heh. :/ But I dunno. It's the only job I've ever thought of, and I love being with animals so much.

If I don't become a vet, I'd probably build a ranch somehow and take in unwanted dogs/horses/cats/pigs/cows....chickens!

Thanks so much for helping! :D
