a programming yay!

I've been a self-taught dabbler in programming stuff since I was like 15, maybe? ( This is my latest coup: )

Dude, that's awesome!

I wish I programmed for fun like I used to.

Haha, well, the only reason is for fun is because I can't find anyone to pay me to do it. I'm not up enough on the latest technologies and don't have the degree (switched from comp sci to communication studies sophomore year).

Did Bihlmeyer ask you to remove his name?

Yeah, a long time ago he and Rebecca both did, actually. And Nathan asked me to unlist him. It bugs me because the database isn't as complete a it could be as a result. Personally, I don't think for an endeavor like this, anyone should be allowed to be anonymous (and that's where we agree on privacy issues). If you're gonna make a blog you should stand behind it. But they're all friends of mine, so I respect that.

Could you remove my name too? I just don't like the idea of my blog being easily accessible; if so, I would have named it my name. Thanks.

That's where you have to decide what is more important, your friendships, or what's right.

I think you know where I stand.

That's pretty cool. I've Googled "badqoph directory" but the page doesn't display the last blog entry. What URL do I use to see that same display as in the pic? or is it not enabled yet?

It's not enabled yet publicly so I had to take that screenshot. There's still a couple bugs. The script I'm using hiccups when it comes across certain journals with either minimal or no public information posted and I haven't quite figured out why, and I haven't set the cron job to automatically update things every x units of time. Plus, I'm unsure of the ramifications of doing something so resource intensive. I honestly don't know if I'll be able to make it available to the public.
