"In my doc voice" I think that your BDSM behavior is due to the bad boy sydrome. You want to please people and you are used to someone telling you want to do. So you want that sexually too. Always interesting, isn't it, to try and figure out where the submissive nature comes from? My own personal view is rather mixed, and I'll admit, I lean towards it being at least slightly hereditary.
