That's a great improvement. I love this kind of post. I watch HGTV, can you tell? ;) What did you use the duct tape for?

The tape was used to secure rags to the ladder so that it wouldn't mar the painted surfaces as I did the second and third paint colors on the porch.

I like those house shows too. When we visit family, who actually have family, I keep them on almost non-stop. Of course, the soulless job that they do sometimes can get to me at times.
