I've been concentrating on the kitchen lately, trying to get the countertops and appliances in. We decided to go with stone tiles for the counters. $10/sf sounded a whole lot better than >$100/sf for solid stone. I milled the wood trim myself since I couldn't find anything that I liked. I just read an old interview with Hans Kung, and I must say that my respect for his dissent just dropped a couple of notches.
