So my Matlab program has been running for the last week on my computer. It was supposed to basically figure out a million trajectories to Mars from the Earth over a few years. Buuuuuuut, it died on me last night. My computer ran out of memory.

:-(

I think I might need to upgrade my computer...

uh, are you 100% sure it is written right?

What's written? I'm sure the code was running the whole time. I know that the memory ran out. :-p

The code... no infinite loops or something... like did you have something that showed it was doing what it was supposed to? (outputting the trajectories or something)

I had tested it with smaller data sets. So I know it works. Plus, I know that the trajectory data file was increasing. :-/

That's sad, Sharma :( I guess you can't use one of those trajectories to get to Mars yet.

OOo! Adding memory to a computer is the ONLY upgrade I've ever done to one. Haha. That means I know it's easy, so you don't really have an excuse for not doing it.
