Tattoo question...

I want another tattoo, on my ankle this time, and it was originally planned to celebrate getting into midwifery (which I still love so now feel that I should do it!).

I know what I want and where I want it, but I want some assvice on when to get it. Today is Monday and in less than 2 weeks I'm going away for 2 weeks interstate for a holiday (

I would wait. By next Friday the tattoo will probably still be healing and in the super-fun itchy stage.

Everybody heals at different rates - do you have any recollection of how long it took the last one to heal?

Point 2: Although I'm not certain on healing rates, I have it on pretty good authority that massage bars and/or Dream Cream from Lush heal tattoos better than the other stuff that was recommended/given to the people who told me this. I think it was sorbalene, but not 100% certain.
