Goodbye 2014
Wow, would you look at that? In a few hours, it's going to be 2015 already!
Happy New Year!
Initially, I never expected to stan exo. I was a Primadonna and a Melody before all this, but since they weren't active much, I let Gray wash me over to the dark side. Hahahah. She lured me in with fanfics and that was it, I fell into a bottomless pit.
Looking back, I never expected to write anything. I was always an avid reader (fanfic or not) but the fics I've read here helped changed my mind. It opened me to a whole new world, and it made try different things, and dip my mind into topics I would never have come near to even in a 5 mile radius. Also, I got to practice my English writing and speed reading! Hahahah
I joined several fic exchanges (some were really great while some were a flop), met new online friends, and gotten to know some of the people behind my favorite fics.
I learned a lot of lessons here, after trudging through all the porn thrown at me. But no, seriously. Some fanfics have lessons in them that we need to learn and incorporate.
Most importantly, I had a lot of fun writing and sharing things with other people besides Gray.
Ahh, this year was really wonderful, despite all the angst happening in real life and within the fandom. I'm glad I'm part of EXO-L. It's nice to not feel so lonely most of the time, I hope 2015 will hold greater things for us!
