I find that toward the end of the year & at the beginning of a new year, I feel increasingly "meh" about ECCC. Then, just before it is time, my excitement starts to rise again. What a coincidence! Brian Merideth of the ECCC is planning a SECOND CONVENTION to take place aproximately 6 months after ECCC called The Jet City Comic Con. Since Emerald City has kind of drifted away from the original vision (JUST comics) in favor of growing huge like San Diego with celebrities and sci-fi authors and whatnot, the Jet City Comic Con will go back to it's roots and try to be JUST comics.

Speaking of which, have you seen the sketch of Cthuluhulahoop? I posted it on Facebook. I want to put it into Photoshop & "paint" it. The goal will be to make it look like Norman Rockwell's work as much as possible.

I made the joke yesterday that it could end up being Rockwell meets Geiger. ^_^
