Nowadays, it's about who holds the bragging rights. It's been a decade since I've seen arcade cliques go and "represent" at Diversions...I guess not much has changed, save for the amount of shit talking and the sophisticated irony of saying it to people's faces online.

I agree that sportsmanship is pretty much dead. People (ESPECIALLY boys) can be so damn competitive, and over what? A video game. Bleh.

You hit the nail on the head. I don't do tournaments in Michigan anymore either. If you don't adhere to whatever ruleset the 3 kids on the internet who can AAAAAAA everything like, you might as well not even run it.

I miss MWS.
