So we've known about this tumor since June 18th.  Knowing that, the August 29th surgery date seems a bit much of a delay.  Apparently not enough of one though.  Her surgery has been rescheduled for October 9!  Do they think the tumor is going to stop growing in that time?  How is she supposed to deal with more than a month of delay?  It's not like

Wow, that's shitty. I can't imagine why they've rescheduled, and I can only hope there's a good reason.

Call the doctor and demand to know why they're delaying the surgery.
