Dr Olsen just came out to talk to us. He said Mama will be in recovery for 1 1/2-2 hours. They removed as much of the tumor as they could, but he couldn't say how much that was. He said they would do an MRI tomorrow

Have you heard any more details about how you're mom is doing?

She was awake and eating lunch when I went to see her today. She's still a bit out of it, but she knew she was in a hospital, knew who I was for the most part and was feeding herself. We wont' get the MRI results until Monday but she's improved a lot already. I didn't visit long since she's on meds for pain and wanted to sleep.

She'll be in ICU a few more days. They won't move her until the drain is out of her skull. Then she'll be in a normal room for a week or two. From there it's either home or a rehab facility, depending on her needs.
