Here's a fun one for you:

You know those late nights when you want to smoke because you're tired?

Your body is tricking you. When I stopped for a bit, I got bursts of energy for no reason. Even late at night when I wanted to smoke, once the initial tired and urge passed, I had the same burst of energy that I had when I was smoking.

So yeah, keep it up.

I was so glad to read your sister's update that she was home and doing well! Sounds like she's coming along beautifully.

And I'm proud of you! I'm sorry I wasn't home when you called.

I know it's hard (especially with Atlanta traffic) but if you can vary your driving route, it helps.

I always knew exactly where I had to light up to finish my last smoke before I got to the parking lot at work. Once I took a different route, I didn't have as much of the smoking urge.

Also, I found that a good shock to the system sometimes helped. (This is weird, but it worked for me.) I'd take a breath strip and then drink something like orange juice or cranberry juice. Two tastes that don't go great together. And the combo would kind of pop my tastebuds out of whack enough that I forgot about wanting to smoke.

Oh, and SING! Singing in the car instead of smoking is a good thing to do because you're occupying your mouth and helping expand your lungs at the same time.
