Four days, 16 hours, 42 minutes and 55 seconds. 84 cigarettes not smoked, saving $11.41. Life saved: 7 hours, 0 minutes.

I survived the weekend, but it was close.  I was cranking and acorn_destroys was whiney (sorry hun, but you were) and I wanted to smoke while I was driving her to the mall so bad!  I might have smoked one on the return trip... but I couldn't ( Read more... )

Gratz! Day Four is the hard one. It's the day where the actual nicotine cravings are screaming the most. Because after Day four, you are clear of the nicotine itself. After day four, it's all willpower. The physical addiction is gone, just the psychological one remains. I'd say get some tic-tacs and pop those instead for the psycological cravings.

Adam used that Five gum or whatever it is.

The packaging is very similar to a pack of smokes, and he has yet to start up again.

They did a CT scan and "found something they didn't like." She's going to see the brain doc tomorrow. I have no clue what it is. Could be the tumor growing, excess fluid, or an unknown issue. When I know I'll post something.
