apparently global warming makes the winters colder

in new york we almost always have snow in december. but not this year -- it still hasn't snowed.

i think it was two years ago that we got a blizzard in December or maybe it was New Years Eve. I remember driving home and you could barely see, it was snowing so much. Damn it. And tomorrow it's suppose to be freaking 70 degrees. wtf

there was a massive blizzard on christmas 2 or 3 years ago -- is that what you are talking about?

I don't know where all the snow is. We got quite a bit up here for a few weeks in Western Canada but not as much as we use to. Kinda been a mild winter.

I've been so busy I haven't had much time to get online.

It still hasn't snowed in New York. Some ski mountains in New England have as little as a 5 inch base and melting right now. In comparison, Colorado mountains have over 30 inches.

Send me your Canadian snow!

oh and curious, where'd you find out that it isn't global warming? only asking cuz everywhere i look it points to global warming...

I read an article in a British newspaper that said that. Although online most people seem to be blaming the warm winter on the east coast on global warming. I'll try to find that article online.
