mary has a list of these for her nursing program, and some seem really bizarre.

euphobia: fear of hearing good news
pogonophobia: fear of beards

...and these are all diagnosed as severe phobias, not just a dislike of those things! can you imagine going into hysterics at the sight of knees or a flute?!! LOL! i'm sorry for those people, really, but the thought of it IS hilarious! ;D

p.s. imagine knowing all those terms so you could sound pretentious LMAO. next time someone says they don't want peanut butter sticking to the roof of their mouth, sigh and go,
"oh, you are SUCH an arachibutyrophobic!"

p.s. okay, i know this list is already an awful bit long, but i just HAD to add these ones that i came across:
Trichopathophobia- Fear of hair
Metrophobia- Fear of poetry
Kathisophobia- Fear of sitting down
Geniophobia- Fear of chins
and check out THIS one- yes, i know that they all seem outrageous, but this one, because of the name i think, seems like it would have to be made up! it just seems like it HAS to be a joke. they all do, yeah, but the NAME haha! how cruel to name that phobia such a long word. do the people who suffer from it freak out every time they are told the name of their phobia?
