i suppose you have all heard about the carlie bruscia case by now. i am curious about what kind of national coverage the case was getting (don't get cable); heard it got some, but it couldn't possibly have impacted any other city as much as here in sarasota

It received a lot of coverage here (Wash DC)--but yes, I am sure the impact there was much greater.

I think it got quite a bit of coverage on Long Island, especially since she had family up here... I'm not sure how much though, 'cause I was away when they found her body and all. But whenever I watched the news, I saw the surveillance video. It's so sad.

Much coverage on the local news here in Austin. Some of the local schools have been telling children bits about it to use it as a warning of the potential dangers and are advising children to stay in groups. Sad days, indeed.
