The tide has turned

Still not sleeping well, but the tide has turned. That volunteer thing that was driving me to distraction has suddenly taken a huge leap forward...and I find myself not too far behind. Wonder of wonders!! So, the laundry list of to-do items has shrunk a bit ( Read more... )

It looks like something positive, sort of, is coming out of these events. Tim Horton's is going to make a national policy about arranging transportation for anyone working the late shift. It's sad that it's necessary, but I'm all for employers giving thought to the safety of their employees.

Do you really feel time is going so fast? I keep waiting for that to start happening. I feel like I've felt every moment of my 34 years.

Thanks for your comments. Sometimes I feel old...really old...weight of the world old. I know this stems from the unending responsiblities and the alone-ness they create.

Sometimes I feel more like I'm just about to become the person I was always meant to be and that the best is yet to come.

This dichotamy creates an interesting view of the world...I rotate between a kind of fatalist practicality - Life is to endure - mind frame. And then a forward looking - Life is what you make it - mind frame. Geez...no wonder I'm tired!
